'Cherryade' by Georgi - Single Review

Hi guys, welcome back to another blog; hope you are all doing well. Today we have our first ever solo artist featured on the blog, today's blog will be a review of a recently released single by Georgi and it is called 'Cherryade.' I'm a big fan normally of solo artists because it takes an enormous amount of talent to produce good music when you are on your own essentially; I was really excited about this blog. Pulled from her Spotify profile she says the following about herself: "My name is Georgi :) I make dream-pop tunes in my bedroom! I hope you enjoy them and be sure to let me know what you think" I'll leave a link below to her Spotify so you guys can go give the song a listen yourselves. For an artist creating music in her bedroom, this song is extremely well written, structured and produced. With 99 monthly listeners and over 1000 streams on the song, I can tell that I'm not the only one by any means who thinks this. As she said in her bio she makes dream-pop songs, this comes through particularly well in this song; the song is so chilled and you sort of focus solely on the music like you're in a dream. The song isn't in your face, or dancy etc. but it's well-composed and brings a really chilled vibe; I loved it! The lyrics are really well written and sung superbly, for one person to put all this together is remarkable. Obviously there are tonnes of artists out there who do this and do it better but it's honestly some a nice piece of music. The way the different sounds bounce of each other is evidence that she has the talent and knows what she needs to do to create a good sound. Hopefully during all this lockdown melark she's getting on making more music because I think this artist has a particularly bright future. That'll be all for today guys, hope you enjoyed reading.
